Once we got to Matera, Michele gave us the most incredible and informative tour. Taking us to the little places that told the history without just being the tourist locations as well as walking us through the city providing so much information. Michele gave us lunch recommendations before taking us onwards to Alberobello. Again once we arrived he took us to all the best pets including walking us through some of the old streets which were much quieter than the tourist streets. We could see how the cheese was made at a traditional farm (masseria). In the end we could also taste many different types of cheese! Everything was super fresh and tasty, the sides were yummy and you also get a bottle of house wine!
